STS-107 Debris Field
On
Saturday 1 February 2003, the shuttle Columbia disintegrated on reentry.
The debris field was widely scattered. The heaviest concentration
of debris lie approximately between 85 to 210 miles from Dallas, Texas at
bearing of 121 degrees. Large, dense pieces have been found near the
Texas - Louisiana state line.

The entire debris field includes more areas than are detailed here. According to NASA, there is strong potential that more debris will be found in Throckmorton, Shackelford, Stephens, Young, Palo Pinto, Hood and Erath counties of West Texas.
