When you first hear about the torres, or see images like the one at right, you begin to feel the attraction of epic adventure. This Pategonia landscape is seemingly that of another world, because it offers incredible beauty and diversity in one location. The scenery is stunning. High alpine meadows with crystal clear water, turquoise lakes and the largest glacier in the southern hemisphere. Use this GPS map data to help plan your adventure.

Day 1: Begin at Laguna Azul and hike through alpine meadows to Lago Paine.Day 2: Lago Paine to Refugio Dickson over more grasslands
Day 3: Refugio Dickson to Campamento Los Parros next to Lago and Glacier Parros.
Day 4: Campamento Los Perros to Campamento Los Guardas climbing out of marshland, over John Gardner pass (3,970 ft.), and descend to icefield below.
Day 5: Campamento Los Guardas to Refugio Peho
Day 6: Refugio Peho to Refugio Los Cuernos, taking side trip up Valle Frances
Day 7: Refugio Cuernos to Hosteria Las Torres along beautiful Nordenskjold.
Day 8: High-point of trek, hiking up Valle Ascencio to the base of the granite torres (towers) and back to hotel.
Day 9: Return by roads to home via Laguna Azul.
