"Bull Run"
Placed: 19 May 2001
Background:
Sometime in April 2004, a controled burn in the area destroyed the stash location.
About 40 minutes northeast of Charleston you can catch a ferry at Moore's Landing that will take you Bull Island - one of the most pristine wilderness areas on the east coast - and I do mean wild.
Description:
Tupperware Container approximately 7" x 9"
Degree of Difficulty: (3)
If you have your own means, you might opt to stick the $30 ferry fee in your own pocket. For info about the ferry see Coastal Expeditions (http://www.coastalexpeditions.com/ferry.htm).
Once on the island, the terrain is not difficult as long as you do not try to do any bushwhacking. Bring insect repellant and netting. The bugs are downright oppressive except in Winter. Also, don't be in too much hurry and make your presence known as you hike along the banks. There are around 1000 alligators on the island. They usually get out of your way, but you'd be wise not to surprise or taunt them.

Hint:
In the hollow of a tree,
is where you will find me.
But don't risk your fist,
better to first poke with a stick.
